♥♥♥ Love is Listening with Your Heart ♥♥♥
Last month I talked about choosing the attitude of gratitude, acceptance, and understanding to help you to have more love in your life. This month I would like to add one more element to this mix bag of goodies. Listening with your Heart. Yes, listening with your heart is a key element in giving and receiving love and feeling that we are lovable. It has been said, God gave us two ears and one mouth and one heart for a reason. I believe he gave us these so we can love fully! When we are using our mouths, we can send out love to others by speaking loving words. God also gave us two ears which acts as the receivers of those loving words. Our ears are one of the ways we receive love- transmit that loving information to our hearts which are our feelings and love centers. In turn, at that point, we remember the truth of who we are- whole perfect and complete and lovable!
Listening with our hearts allows the giver and receiver to feel the love. I know of all of you have experienced that love exchange at least one time in your life. When we are listening with our hearts – there is no need for judgement or trying to fix or control anyone. Listening with your heart will support your ability to accept and understand where the other person is coming from. When you do that, they will feel the love and you will be at peace giving it. Let the circle of love flow! Next time a friend or family member comes up to you to share something important with you- be quiet- open up your heart and just listen and see what happens. I am sure you both will simply love it!
***October’s Joyful Tip
Play the *”Wouldn’t it be wonderful if….. Game” with your friends and your family. This game will support everyone in opening up their hearts to listen to what is possible in their own lives. It also puts all that negative mind clatter on the shelf for a while.
Here is how you play- turn off the TV- computer or anything that is distracting. Playing this game after a meal is a fun, bonding event. You will be surprised on what is shared. When our hearts are open, our hearts’ desires will come to the surface. Listening to everyone’s respective shares will help activate your own truth and desires. Joy- Joy- Joy!
Rules of play-
—Everyone takes a turn sharing their “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if…. ( something you would like to have happen to you or a love one- keep it positive) i.e. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if…..I was able to have a new red Mustang convertible or a vacation in Hawaii.
—No one is allowed to comment negatively on the other person’s share.
—Play it as long as you wish- The more often you play the easier it will be to share what you would like to have or do or be.
***October’s Joyful Tip for the Work Place
Play another version of the “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if…” Game on the way to work or when you first get to work. This game will help you set your intentions for the day. Here are the two ways you can play it. First way- on your way to work- say out loud, for example -Wouldn’t it be wonderful if…..traffic just flowed quickly to work today and I got to work 5 minutes early so I could sit and have a peaceful cup of coffee before I get started. Continue until you went over all the things you would like to happen for you that day. Another way is to get to work a few minutes early and write on the top of a piece of paper- Wouldn’t it be wonderful if…Then make a list of things you would like to happen that day. Like Wouldn’t it be wonderful if… my meeting with my first client ended in a sale. Continue until you have covered your complete to-do list. Take that extra few minutes to set your high vibrating intentions for the day by playing that game- let me know how it goes?
❥ Remember “Love for Peace” in your life and in our world!
