About Vicki

Vicki is a 50-something mother of three wonderful grown children. She has 2 totally perfect grandchildren. She has been married to her husband and best friend, Rod, for more than 30 years. She calls herself an Air Force Brat because she was born on an Air Force base, married on an Air Force base and had all of her children on Air Force bases. After serving 20 years, Rod retired from the Air Force and is currently a pilot for Federal Express. She has lived in nine states and two foreign countries, Korea and Germany. She has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1985. She loves to travel and experience new places and cultures.

Relocating the family every few years, Vicki loved being a stay-at-home mom. She owned a Jazzercise franchise for six years in the late 1980s, teaching Jazzercise in Las Vegas and Germany. She was also a dental assistant for several years in the '90s.

In 2000, she trained for Sedona Training Associates in Sedona, AZ and became a certified facilitator. She organized and taught The Sedona Method weekend seminars in Las Vegas until January 2004. The Sedona Method is a simple and safe technique to help people release their negative emotional energy for happiness and success in their lives. She now teaches her own "Success with Joy" seminars using many highly effective methods.

She is the owner of a company called "Energy 'N Motion." In December 2003, she became a Reiki Master Teacher. Reiki is a type of energy healing that supports one's overall physical, emotional, and mental health. She is also a personal life coach. She has helped her clients reach the personal and business goals they have set for themselves.

Vicki has been an active member of Toastmasters International (the world's leading communication program) for more than six years. She has competed in many Toastmasters speech contests. She has been awarded the "Spark Plug of the Year for 2002", "Toastmaster of the Year Award for 2003", and the "Jerry Theo - Behind the Scenes Award for 2004" for her Toastmasters Division in Las Vegas. She has been her Division Club Coach Coordinator and Club Coach Trainer. In doing so, she helped create a very successful Club Coach program in Las Vegas. She has, also, held many leadership roles in the two clubs she attends. Vicki is currently a charter affiliate member of the National Speaker's Association- Las Vegas.

Her household continues to grow. The newest addition is her Chihuahua/Dachshund pup called Chai. This little gift gives her whole family unlimited joy.

Vicki's life experiences have made it possible for her to find her life's purpose, which is to make a positive difference in as many people's lives as possible. Her passion is working with families, helping them discover happiness and love even when life is rough. She is very passionate about passing on the lessons she has learned along the path to her family's happiness. She wants to give others choices to do something different and create happiness and joy in their lives. She would like everyone to learn to release their self-imposed limitations and be the "joy" in every area of their wonderful lives.
